Some things you might want to consider include location, number of bedrooms (will you have a roommate?), laundry access, whether pets are allowed, what utilities are included, storage space and parking.
Create a moving checklist

You will be surprised how many things you use that you won’t already have when you’re on your own! Think about bedding, kitchen and bathroom essentials, laundry supplies, yard tools, storage and furniture. Other items to check off include changing your address, starting utilities, getting insurance and testing the smoke detectors.
