PFCU's Story
1940's
PFCU was established in March, 1947, in the Holley Carburetor Plant in Portland, Michigan.

1950's
Holley Carburetor left Portland in 1953. PFCU was moved to the home of a former plant employee, Arden McCrumb.

1960's
The PFCU headquarters building in Portland was constructed.
PFCU's first headquarters building, built in 1964.
1980's
PFCU expanded their field of membership to include portions of Eaton and Clinton counties.
1990's
In 1994, the field of membership expanded to include the entire county of Ionia and PFCU opened its Ionia Location.
PFCU opened locations in Lake Odessa and Westphalia in 1998.
PFCU's Westphalia Branch, constructed in 1998.
2000's
PFCU and Federal Employees Credit Union of Lansing merged in 2006.
In 2007, PFCU's field of membership expanded to include the City of Lansing, Barry and Kent counties.
A new headquarters was built in Portland in 2008.

2010's
In 2011, PFCU's Lansing location moved to West Saginaw Highway.
PFCU opened a Lowell location in 2013 and Caledonia location in 2015.
In 2018, PFCU expanded it's field of membership to include the entire state of Michigan. PFCU also merged with SageLink Credit Union, established in 1937.

2020's
PFCU opened a Perry location in 2022.
