PFCU Credit Union Employees Donate to Hannah’s House of Lansing

Lansing, MI – PFCU Credit Union employees have raised $7,809.77 for Hannah’s House of Lansing through the credit union’s Jean Day program. This ongoing, quarterly initiative allows staff members to donate voluntarily in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans during the workweek. Each quarter, the funds raised are donated to a local charity. PFCU Credit Union employees chose Hannah’s House as the recipient of the donation for the fourth quarter of 2024.

Hannah’s House provides a safe and supportive environment for women and children facing crisis situations. The organization offers temporary housing, life skills training, and resources to help individuals overcome personal challenges and gain long-term stability. With this donation, PFCU employees are helping to support Hannah’s House’s mission to empower families, break the cycle of homelessness, and create brighter futures for those in need. The Jean Day program continues to be a powerful way for PFCU staff to give back to the community and make a positive difference in the lives of Lansing’s most vulnerable families.

“This gift will go towards helping expectant moms who are currently homeless move forward in their understanding of motherhood along with receiving support in schooling, employment and life skills.  We are so grateful to each of you at PFCU!” Susan Ayers, Executive Director, Hannah’s House.
